The SRN provides resources, technical assistance, legislative information, and facilitates networking and communication amongst community based organization toenhance the work that they are doing in the community and provide tools to increase their organizational effectiveness.
The Socially Responsible Network (SRN) has an organizational membership of over 200 Community Based Organizations representing a wide variety of interests and back-grounds throughout the Greater Bay Area. Over the last seven years we have sponsored bi-annual community programs surveying the needs and interests of the progressivecommunity and providing informational resources and services. We published resource manuals for non-profits and hosted distinguished policy panels, including a very popularannual local, state, and federal budget update. These budget and legislative panel presentations provide insightful coverage of budget impacts and policy that affectcommunity service providers and their work in our neighborhoods. We strive to empower and provide important communication links to members within our communityand strengthen our ability to provide services and support and develop new leadership.
